Changes to flight

Cancellation

In case you have booked ticket but for some reason your need to postpone your trip, we kindly ask you to cancel your reservation by calling Air Moldova reservation department  on (373 22) 52-54-54 or +(373 22) 52-63-63 or ticket desk. In case the ticket has already been issued you can change date of departure in any authorized Air Moldova agency in Moldova as well as abroad. In this case authorized agent of the air company will change or reissue the ticket in conformity with IATA regulations.

Ticket Refund

In cases

  • passenger voluntary refuses to use reserved seat
  • passenger has arrived to check-in after time set by Air Moldova
  • passenger is refused in transportation because of improperly completed documents

ticket reissuance or refund is done with penalties imposed by air company’s fares. The amounts of cancellation fees vary in dependence of the fare applied.

In case of voluntary refusal from flight money refund for unused transportation can be made only at the agency which originally issued the ticket. Conditions of the ticket refund depend on the applicable fare type. Normal fare tickets are as a rule fully refundable. Special fare tickets are usually refunded with certain penalties. Usually refund penalties are lower before date of departure than during or after it.

In case of ticket refund or reissue the following should be taken into consideration:

  • Voluntary refund for unused ticket can be made only in the agency which originally issued the ticket
  • Conditions of the refund depend on the applicable fare. Fares, in their turn, range from fully refundable to completely non-refundable. General rule is as follows: the cheaper your air ticket is, the more strict conditions are applied in case of ticket refund and ticket rebooking/reissuance. When purchasing your air ticket, do not forget to specify conditions of its refund/rebooking/reissuance
  • For refund procedures one should present passenger air ticket with unused flight coupons
  • In cases of involuntary refund caused by flight delay or cancellation, overbooking etc you may receive refund in the air company’s own ticket offices in the airport. In cases of involuntary refund no penalties should be collected.

Please remember that in case of involuntary refund airline representative at the airport or a check-in agent should make a special note in your ticket and validate it with a stamp. Only in this case the agency can refund money and acknowledges refund as involuntary.

In case flight delay or cancellation happened after you have been checked-in, you should withdraw the corresponding flight coupon from check-in agents. In case the flight coupon is missing the ticket is considered to be used and is not valid for refund.

Lost Ticket

In case the ticket has been lost passenger as a rule is refused in transportation and the cost of the ticket cannot be refunded. The ticket duplicate can only be issued by the airline’s representative. In cases of dispute we kindly ask you to contact Air Moldova ground operations department.
