Ticket Reservation and Purchase

The total price of your air ticket depends on applicable air fare, airport taxes and sometimes on special discounts granted by the airline. The maximum validity of the ticket is another factor influencing the final price of the ticket.

It should be borne in mind that the majority of cheap fares should be booked and purchased at once in advance before departure.

When purchasing air tickets one should remember that fares vary greatly and the price of your ticket may be different from your fellow traveler. In case your travel agent could not offer you the cheapest fare it is highly unlikely that another agent will find it as all airline’s agents use the same computer reservation system. In case you still need a cheaper fare you may try to make a reservation for another date.

Unlike air fares, airport taxes are a fixed amount and depend only on airports of departure and arrival. The amount of airport taxes depends neither on transporting carrier nor on the agency issuing the ticket. Airport taxes are collected at the time of ticket issuance.

For issuance of certain types of tickets agency's management fee may be charged as well. It is necessary to remember that conditions of the majority of cheap fares do not allow advance reservation. In such cases reservation and ticketing are to be completed at the same time.

Detailed information on conditions of fare application, amount of taxes and charges and total cost of the air ticket can be obtained from Air Moldova authorized sales agents. To purchase an air ticket passenger should present his/her foreing passport.  Air ticket is an individual transport document and is not transferable to other persons.

Competent sales and reservations agents will provide you qualified assistance and detailed information regarding all questions that you may have about seat booking and ticket purchase. In air company’s own ticket offices you will be offered the best itinerary and the lowest fare.

Reservation

Reservation is an obligatory condition of the passenger’s transportation. You can reserve an air ticket at any Air Moldova ticket desk or any other authorized ticket office. Until ticket is not issued and corresponding ticket number has not been introduced into reservation, the booking is considered to be preliminary and in case of necessity can be cancelled.
