INTRODUCTION

Dear Member of Air Moldova Club,

Air Moldova Club Program (named herewith the Program) is our way of thanking you for being loyal to Air Moldova. The Program has been specifically designed to offer benefits and awards to our most loyal passengers. The program is based on earning of Miles from future flights on Air Moldova routes (named herewith Mile).

This guide contains all the needed information, related to the way of earning and use of Miles, as well as the facilities enjoyed by the Member of the Air Moldova Club Program.

 

1. EARNING MILES

Once you become a Member of the Program, the air company Air Moldova shall offer with great pleasure a welcome present - 150 Miles (only for on-line registered).

The new registered Members of the Program shall benefit of earning of Miles for all flights performed by Air Moldova 12 months before being registered in the Program (except the corporate accounts).

Every Member shall benefit of 150 Miles-Bonus for every following holidays: New Year, 8th of Match, birthday (except members of PROSPECT, DORMANT, EXPIRED).

After being registered in the Program, you shall earn Miles every time you register on Air Moldova flights.

NOTE. The earned Miles shall be transferred on your account in case the following two conditions are met:

  1. you indicate the number of your account when booking your flight ticket, and:
  2. you present the Membership Card of Air Moldova Club when checking in.

The number of earned Miles shall depend on the class of travel and destination.

The overall number of Miles determines the moment the next level of Air Moldova Club Program is reached: Prestige or Exclusive.

We recommend you to keep all the flight tickets and boarding passes until the report of your account is checked. Based on them, the Member shall have the possibility to include the Miles for his/her flights during the last 6 months by on-line accessing of the personal profile.

If during a period of 12 months from the registration, your Air Moldova Club membership account didn’t register any change, the status of your account shall automatically swich from ’’ACTIVE’’ to ’’DORMANT’’. Members with ”DORMANT” status shall not benefit from bonus Miles (New Year, 8th of March, birthday, etc.) and shall not be able to use the Miles on the account for Air Moldova Club Awards. The membership account shall turn active again after performing the first flight or after the Member includes in its personal profile the his/her flights during the last 6 months.

If during a period of 24 months from the registration your Air Moldova Club membership account didn’t register any change, the status of your account shall automatically swich from „ACTIVE” to „EXPIRED”. Members with „EXPIRED’’ status shall not benefit from bonus Miles (New Year, 8th of March, birthday, etc.) and the Miles on the account shall expire. The membership account shall turn active again after performing the first flight and indicating implicitly your card number when booking.

 

2. USE OF MILES

2.1 In order to request an award, you shall have already earned a necessary number of Miles, in accordance with the mileage table.

2.2 In order to request an award, the status of your account shall be ”ACTIVE” (until you have the first fight, the status of your account shall remain ”PROSPECT”).

According to the definition of free of charge ticket, as mentioned in the present Terms and Conditions, when your request a ticket where the arrival and departure points are situated on different airports (as for example: Chisinau-Paris / Milan-Chisinau), the number of Miles on both segments shall be deducted.

The earned Miles are valid for a period of 24 months from the moment of the last flight.

 

3. ISSUANCE OF FREE OF CHARGE TICKET

The free of charge ticket (herewith – award ticket), may be issued in your favor, in favor of a member of your family or in favor of one of your friend, or in favor of a company, in favor of a specific name. Please do not take into consideration the fact that on certain flights, during certain periods of time and mostly on high season, it is possible that the number of allocated places for awards to be limited, that is why we recommend you to plan the trip beforehand. The Air Moldova Club award tickets are valid only on direct flights of the air company Air Moldova.

 

4. TIERS OF AIR MOLDOVA CLUB PROGRAM

The tiers of Air Moldova Club Program are: Basic, Prestige and Exclusive.

When you become holder of the Prestige or Exclusive card, you shall benefit of the following facilities:

Prestige Tier 25 000 Credit Miles (earned during a calendar year)

  1. Check-in priority;
  2. Earn of a higher percentage Miles for every performed flight - 25% more Miles;
  3. Free of charge upgrade in Business class – only once during valability of the tier;
  4. Increase of the free of charge allowance for baggage transportation with 1 PC;
  5. Free of charge Business Lounge service in the International Airport Chisinau;
  6. Waiting list priority.

Exclusive Tier 40 000 Credit Miles (earned during a calendar year)

  1. Check-in priority;
  2. Earn of a higher percentage Miles for every performed flight - 50% more Miles;
  3. Free of charge upgrade in Business class – only twice during valability of the tier;
  4. Increase of the free of charge allowance for baggage transportation with 1 PC;
  5. Free of charge Business Lounge service in the International Airport Chisinau;
  6. Waiting list priority.

The Prestige Tier and Exclusive Tier are valid for 24 months.

 

5. PARTICIPATION OF COMPANIES IN THE AIR MOLDOVA CLUB PROGRAM

5.1 When a company becomes a Member of the Air Moldova Club Program, on its name is opened a corporate account. Each company is entitled to have only one account.

5.2 The management of the company shall present to the Air Moldova Club Service Center a letter with the list of staff members (up to 30 persons) with the right to fly at the expenses of the company, their function and the date they were employed by the company.

5.3 To each staff member shall be issued Air Moldova Club card, which should be presented during checking in. The Miles earned by the corporate staff members shall be transferred automatically to the corporate account.

5.4 The management of the company shall nominate a staff member responsible for correct use of the earned Miles.

5.5 The earned Miles on the corporate account are the property of the company and not of the staff members.

5.6 In case of any changes in the list of the staff members, the company must inform the Air Moldova Club Service Center about all the changes.

5.7 The air company Air Moldova shall not be liable for incorrect use by the nominated responsible staff member of the company for the use of the Miles earned.

 

6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participation in the Program shall be subject to Terms and Conditions presented hereunder. While filling in the Program application form, every Member of Air Moldova Club accepts the Terms and Conditions presented hereunder, as well as further amendments and supplements to them.


6.1 Participation in Air Moldova Club Program

6.1.1 Participation in the Program is free of charge.

6.1.2 Any passenger over 2 years old may become a member of the Loyalty Program. Eligible are any individuals and legal entities.

6.1.3 Staff members of the air companies can participate in the Program in case they’ll travel based on official tariffs, without any discounts.

6.1.4 In order to become a Member of the Program, the passenger shall fill in an application form on the official web site www.airmoldova.md.

6.1.5 When participation of the Member in the Program is approved, the new Member shall benefit of all the advantages of the Program.

6.1.6 Air Moldova Club Service Center can exclude from the Program a Member who is not observing the Terms and Conditions of the Program.

In case the Program is terminated, the participation in the Program shall be automatically cancelled.

 

6.1.7 Withdrawal of the membership shall be done at any time, at the request of the Member, through a written notification.

6.1.8 In case you are not a member of the Program anymore, all the earned Miles shall be cancelled.


6.2 Air Moldova Club Cards

6.2.1 The card shall be issued once the Member had 4 flights after registration date in the Program.

6.2.2 The card of Air Moldova Club is personal and shall not be transferred to a third person.

6.2.3 The Member of Air Moldova Club shall notify as soon as possible the Service Center of any changes related to the given name, name, address, phone or fax number. The Member shall fill in the application form corresponding to the application, attaching the copies confirming the change of the given name or surname and sending the application form and the attached documents to the Service Center.

6.2.4 Restoring of the card shall be done only after the Member pays the amount of 10 Euro or its equivalent in the local currency, at the current exchange rate.

6.2.5 The Member shall notify immediately the Service Center about the loss, theft or damage of the card.


6.3 Earning and use of Miles

6.3.1 The calculation unit within the Air Moldova Club Program are the Miles.

6.3.2 Exception

Miles are not credited for:

  • charter flights
  • group tariffs
  • promotional and special tariffs with discounts
  • for tickets free of charge or awarded services which the Member is granted within the Frequent Flyer Program (FFP)
  • issuance of tickets on the stock of the partner companies on Code-Share routes, operated by Air Moldova

Miles may not be credited for other categories of services.

6.3.3 Awards of Air Moldova Club shall be granted in accordance with the number of accumulated Miles.

6.3.4 For every Member of the Program shall be opened a personal account on which shall be credited all the earned Miles. Miles cannot be changed for cash. Members of a family cannot earn Miles on the same account.

6.3.5 Miles can be earned only on regular flights operated by Air Moldova.

6.3.6 Miles cannot be transferred to family members or other passengers for whom the holder of the card has purchased a ticket.

6.3.7 The air company Air Moldova may decide to increase or to decrease the number of Miles credited for certain routes and/or during certain periods of time.

6.3.8 For automatic earn of Miles on an account, the Member shall specify the number of his/her account every time he/she is booking a flight ticket and shall present the Air Moldova Club card when checking in.

6.3.9 If due to certain circumstances the Miles for a certain route were not transferred onto the account or were incorrectly transferred, the Member has the possibility to include the Miles for the flights had during the last 6 months, by accessing the personal on-line account.

6.3.10 Complaints regarding the uncredited Miles shall be presented to the Air Moldova Club Service Center not later than a month since the last flight. If the complaints are grounded, the Miles shall be transferred on to the respective account.

6.3.11 The air company Air Moldova reserves its right to exclude partially or wholly certain tariffs and payments, notifying in advance the Members of the Program.


6.4 Air Moldova Club awards

6.4.1 As awards, The Program offers free of charge tickets (tickets for which are paid airport charges), possibility to upgrade from Economy class to Business class, additional baggage. Awards can be granted to Members of the Program as well to members of their family, as well as to other persons. Air Moldova Club awards are valid both, for the Members who are natural entities and those who are corporate members.

The Air Moldova Club award ticket is defined as:

  • one way ticket
  • regular round trip ticket
  • one ticket when the arrival and departure points are situated on different airports (as for example: Chisinau-Paris / Milan-Chisinau), valid only on routes operated by Air Moldova.

6.4.2 In case of corporate members, awards are granted to any member staff of the company at the decision of the management of the company.

6.4.3 On routes of the air company Air Moldova upgrade from Economy class to Business class may be granted to the Member as an award ticket integrally paid. Certain tariffs, flight classes and groups of booking may be excluded from the category subject to upgrade. When upgraded to Business cabin, the tariff conditions shall be changed according to the Business class.

6.4.4 The air company Air Moldova reserves its right to change the conditions related to the number of Miles needed to be granted an award and to cancel at any time the awards.

Once you are granted an award, your membership account is credited with a certain number of Miles which corresponds to the requested award. The request to be granted the award shall be sent to the e-mail of the Service Center of the Program or to any other representative agency of the air company Air Moldova abroad, which in its turn sends these requests to Air Moldova Club Service Center.

6.4.5 In case the earned Miles are not enough for an award, these can be purchased in cash or other means of payment.

6.4.6 Change of the date of the flight for the award ticket shall be done in accordance with the respective tariff.

6.4.7 Reimburse of the award ticket is done:

  • before the date of the flight – the used Miles shall be credited onto the Member account
  • from/after the date of the flight – the Miles for the unused ticket shall be partially reimbursed.

6.4.8 The Member (or the beneficiary of the award ticket) shall be responsible for payment of the airport charges, security and insurance charges, and/or other charges that are not included in the tariff.

6.4.9 Miles earning and granting of awards shall be subject to the hereby Terms and Conditions, that is why we recommend you to get familiar with these in order to benefit of all advantages offered by the Program.


6.5 Miscellaneous

6.5.1 The Member or any other third person who benefits of the Air Moldova Club awards shall be subject to terms and conditions of air transport, like any other passenger.

6.5.2 The air company Air Moldova reserves its right to exclude from the Program all the Members who have earned Miles and/or were granted awards illegally, or violating the Terms and Conditions of the Program.

6.5.3 The air company Air Moldova reserves its right to terminate the Program by notifying the Members of the Program one month in advance.

6.5.4 On routes jointly operated in the code-share system with other air companies, the Miles shall not be credited until a partnership agreement regarding the Program is signed and the Members shall be notified accordingly.

6.5.5 Being registered in the Program, the Member allows the air company Air Moldova to use the information for marketing researches and activities. The information from the application form is confidential and shall not be transmitted to other natural and legal entities, except to the partners of Air Moldova Club.
